Hello Italy

My final day in Nice whizzed around quickly, and I made my way to the
Côte d’Azur to get on my flight to Roma Fiumicino Aeroporto. As always, Easy Jet was an interesting flying experience. It’s first in first served with the seats, so I found myself sitting next to two girls who I suspect we’re prostitutes; beautiful girls, but they had no luggage, were dressed to party, and were swigging back large amounts of expensive looking vodka as we flew. Maybe they were just preloading NZ style for a party in Rome, who knows, but my prostitute theory kept me entertained for a while. Continue reading

Europe 2012

For those who haven’t yet caught up on recent changes in my life let this be the first place you learn that I took the scary step of quitting my job and leaving Dunedin, and questionably the even scarier step of whittling my worldly possessions down to a meager 13.8 kg before jumping on a plane and heading off out into the big world to ‘find myself’ slash take a break from my ordinary life and go and do something outrageous.
